The 24 Hour Web Project is a yearly event coordinated by SmallBox to build a website (or two) for a local non-profit (or two) in 24 hours straight. For free. Explore previous Projects below and check back for news and updates in Spring 2012.

We upped the ante this year, challenging ourselves to tackle two sites in one 24-hour time period. The result? Two new sites for two great Indianapolis non-profits: Earth House and INDYCOG. Oh, and a little dancing and cheering — not to mention more than $1000 in donations to the non-profits — to boot.

Our inaugural Project began at Second Helpings, where we kicked off with a delicious lunch served by SH's chefs-in-training. Our bellies full, we moved into a fun 24 hours of learning, laughing and creating a website for this non-profit that rescues food and serves it to hungry people around Indianapolis.

Set on the stage of the beautiful Madame Walker Theatre, this Project brought out our inner performers, as we worked to build a new website and also dance for donations for this historical Theatre bringing culture and diversity to the greater Indianapolis community.
